Bayou Pan Dinner Recipe
This Bayou Pan Dinner is an awesome supper to whip up in minutes. Kidney beans and bacon forms such an interesting combination in this Bayou Pan Dinner and when poured over plain boiled rice it is imply awesome! Make it to believe it!
Ingredients
| 1 can New Orleans style red kidney beans | ||
| Bacon Slices | 3 | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Spanish rice | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Drain beans.
Cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper towel, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet.
Saute onion in drippings until transparent.
Add beans, Spanish rice and salt; heat through.
Garnish with crumbled bacon.
