Ingredients
| 2 cups cubed red potatoes, 3/4-inch cubes | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sauerkraut | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| 3/4 lb. uncooked bratwurst, cut into 1-inch pieces | ||
| Apple | 1 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| Packed brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley flakes | 1 Tablespoon, dried | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Caraway seed | 1 Teaspoon | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Beer | 1 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
Directions
In 2-quart casserole, combine potatoes, onion and water.
Cover.
Microwave at High for 5 to 7 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
Stir in sauerkraut, bratwurst, apple, brown sugar, parsley, lemon juice and caraway.
In small bowl, blend flour and 1/4 cup beer.
Stir in remaining 3/4 cup beer.
Pour into bratwurst and potato mixture.
Mix well.
Recover.
Microwave at High for 9 to 12 minutes, or until bratwurst is firm and no longer pink, stirring 2 or 3 times.
Cover.
