Batter-Fried Fish Recipe
Over the years I perfected the art of making this Batter-fried Fish which was taught to me by my elders. Batter-fried Fish as a Side Dish never fails to impress. Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup salad oil
2 pounds fish fillets, steaks or pan dressed fish

Directions
Prepare batter.
Measure 1 cup flour, the baking powder, salt, egg, milk and salad oil into a bowl; beat with rotary beater until smooth.
If fillets are large, cut into serving pieces.
Coat fish with flour, then dip in batter to coat completely.
Heat oil (1/2 to 1 inch) in large pan or deep skillet.
Cook fish in oil until golden brown, about 4 minutes on each side.
Cool quickly.
Wrap, label and freeze.
About 25 minutes before serving, heat oven to 400°.
Heat Batter fried fish on ungreased baking sheet until hot, about 15 minutes.
