 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

1. Cut zucchini into 3-inch sticks, about 1/2 inch in diameter.
2. Sift together the baking powder, flour, salt, and pepper. Beat together the eggs, milk, and oil. Whisk the flour mixture into the egg mixture.
3. Heat the oil in a heavy skillet or pot to about 360°. (A piece of zucchini should sizzle when added.) Dip the sticks into the batter and fry them in small batches until golden brown. Drain on a rack or on paper towels. Serve with warm marinara or other sauce.
