Ingredients

| Basmati rice | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Water | 4 Cup (64 tbs) | |
| Chopped cashew | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Cumin seeds | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Cloves | 5 | |
| Cinnamon stick | 1 Inch | |
| Green cardamom | 3 | |
| Ghee | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Curry leaves | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garam masala powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric powder | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Chopped cilantro | 1 Tablespoon (For Garnishing) |
Directions
Wash rice and soak for 30 minutes. Drain water and keep aside. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil and keep aside.
Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds. When they splutter, add curryleaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon sticks and cashew nuts. Saute till the cashew nuts turn golden brown.
Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, peas and rice. Mix well and saute for about 2 minutes.
Add salt and boiling water. Cover the pan and cook rice on a medium heat till all the water evaporates.
Serve hot garnished with chopped cilantro.
