Basmati Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup uncooked basmati rice, rinsed to remove small stones or seeds | ||
| 2 cups water, nonfat chicken broth, or vegetable broth | ||
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Place rice and water or broth in a large microwave-safe casserole.
Cover tightly.
Cook on high for 20 minutes.
Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
Stir in parsley and black pepper.
