Bask Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Salad oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| 2 1/2 tablespoons each firmly packed brown sugar and red wine vinegar | ||
| Worcestershire | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Cracked pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Heat oil in a 1 to 2-quart pan over medium heat.
Add onion and cook, stirring, until soft.
Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, and pepper.
Bring to a boil; then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until thickened (about 25 minutes).
Use to baste chicken during last 20 to 30 minutes of barbecuing.
