Refreshing Basil Pesto Recipe Video

Pesto can be made with any type of herb but today we will learn how to make basil pesto.

Ingredients

 
Fresh Basil
 
Toasted pine nuts
 
Parmigiano reggiano cheese
 
2 cloves garlic
 
Black pepper

Directions

Take basil leaves in a blender and add a couple of pinches of kosher salt.

Put in the pine nuts, garlic, Parmigiano reggiano cheese and some black pepper.

Start to blend and add extra virgin olive oil.

Pesto should be loose so add more olive oil if required.

Pour out the pesto in a bowl.
