Easy Basic White Sauce Recipe

 Butter/Margarine2 Tablespoon
 All purpose flour2 Tablespoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 1/8 teaspoon black or white pepper
 Milk1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Place butter in a 1 qt.glass casserole dish or 2 cup glass measuring cup.
Microwave 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds or until melted.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
Gradually stir in milk.
Microwave 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened.
Stir every minute.
