Basic Oats Mix Recipe
|All purpose flour||6 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1/4 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shortening||1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs)|
|2 cups quick or old-fashioned oats, uncooked|
1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together into large bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats. Store mixture in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
