Basic Fried Oven Cooked Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Long grain rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Small, finely chopped | |
| 2 cups hot Basic Chicken Stock | ||
Directions
Melt butter in frying pan.
Add rice and onion; cook over medium heat about 5 minutes or until golden, stirring frequently.
Turn rice mixture into l'/i-quart casserole.
Stir in stock; cover.
Bake in preheated 425 °F oven 25 minutes, until rice is tender and stock is absorbed.
