1/2 cup chicken broth or water
 
1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 2 teaspoons soy sauce
 
2 tablespoons salad oil
 
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
 
1 small clove garlic, minced
 
1 pound cut vegetables
 
1/2 teaspoon each salt and sugar
 
Chicken broth or water

Directions

If you wish to serve a vegetable with a sauce, combine chicken broth, cornstarch, and soy, and set a side.
Heat a wok or wide frying pan over high heat.
When pan is hot, add oil.
When oil begins to heat, add ginger and garlic.
Stir once around pan.
