 All purpose flour3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Soda1 Teaspoon
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Cinnamon1 Tablespoon
 Ground cloves1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Nutmeg1 Teaspoon
 1 cup soft butter or margarine
 Sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs3
 Molasses3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 cup All Bran or 1 cup Bran Buds
 Buttermilk3/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

1. Sift together flour, soda, salt and spices. Set aside.
2. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Stir in molasses and All-Bran.
3. Stir in dry ingredients in thirds alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Spread evenly in greased 10-inch tube pan.
4. Bake in slow oven (325° F.) about 1 hour and 25 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool on wire rack. Serve with Foamy Lemon Sauce.
