Basic Crumb Case Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 tbsp / 75 g / 3 oz butter | ||
| Digestive Biscuits | 225 Gram, crushed | |
| 3 tbsp / 40 g / 1 1/2 oz brown sugar | ||
| 3 tbsp / 25 g / 1 oz chopped nuts | ||
Directions
Melt the butter in a 23-cm / 9-in pie dish and cook for 40—45 seconds. Add the crumbs, sugar, and nuts and mix well. Press the mixture firmly against the base and sides of the dish, using a spoon.
Stand the dish on an inverted plate and cook for 30 seconds, rotate the dish and cook for a further 45 seconds. Cool before filling.
