Basic Bread Stuffing For Fish Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 medium-size yellow onion, peeled and minced | ||
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| 1/4 teaspoon each thyme and sage or 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning | ||
| 1 egg, lightly beaten | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Take a large, heavy skillet and put butter in it.
2) Sauté onion and celery in the butter over moderate heat for 5 minutes till they turn pale golden.
3) Add in all remaining ingredients and toss well and mix.
SERVING
4) Use as a stuffing for fish.
