Basic Biscuit Mix Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 10 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/4 cups nonfat dry milk powder | ||
| Baking powder | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1/2 cups shortening that does not require refrigeration | ||
Directions
In large mixing bowl stir flour, dry milk powder, baking powder, and salt together thoroughly.
Cut shortening into dry ingredients till mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
Store mix in a tightly covered container up to six weeks at room temperature.
For longer storage, place mix in freezer containers and freeze.
