Barley-Amaranth Waffles Recipe

I love waffles, bought a waffle maker and this Barley-Amaranth Waffles is the first one I tried on it. My family absolutely loves this Barley-Amaranth Waffles. Your family will love it too!

Ingredients

 
3/4 cup (180 ml) Amaranth Flour
 
1 cup (240 ml) Barley Flour
 
1 tbs (15 ml) non-alum baking powder
 
1/4 tsp (1 ml) sea salt, optional
 
1 1/2 cups (355 ml) skim milk, soy milk or water
 
3 tbs (45 ml) Unrefined Vegetable Oil

Directions

Combine liquids and dry ingredients separately, then mix liquid ingredients into dry with a hand mixer.
Pour onto hot, nonstick-surface griddle.
Thin batter with additional water if needed.
