Barbecued Sesame Salmon Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sesame or olive oil
1 tablespoon grated gingerroot
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Ground black pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
2 pounds thick-cut salmon steaks
Directions
Combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, gingerroot, lemon juice, sesame seeds, pepper and sugar in a large glass dish and whisk well.
Add the salmon.
Marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for 3 to 10 hours.
Drain the salmon.
Grill, skin side down, on a grill sprayed with nonstick cooking spray over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Turn over carefully and grill for 5 minutes longer.
Turn off burner and allow salmon to finish cooking.
Do not overcook; fish should flake easily.
This salmon is best served at room temperature or cold.
