Ingredients
12 beef ribs
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon hot red pepper sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Arrange the ribs in a single layer on a rack in a broiler pan.
Bake, covered, at 400 degrees for 20 minutes; drain.
Bake, covered, for 20 minutes longer; drain.
Combine the sugar, flour, vinegar, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper in a saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil.
Pour evenly over the ribs.
Reduce oven heat to 225 degrees and bake the ribs, covered, for 1 1//2 hours.
