Skillet Barbecued Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 to 6'pbrk chops | ||
| 1 tbsp. Wesson oil | ||
| Celery | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce | ||
Directions
In a large skillet with a tight fitting lid, brown chops in wesson oil over medium heat, approximately 5 minutes on each side.
Pour off excess fat.
Sprinkle celery, brown sugar, lemon juice, vinegar and seasonings evenly over chops.
Pour tomato sauce over all.
Cover; simmer over low heat 1 hour or until chops are tender.
