Barbecued Sage Meat Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

 Onion1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Butter/Margarine1 Tablespoon
 Ground beef3/4 pound
 1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
 Egg1 , beaten
 Milk2 Tablespoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage Dash of pepper
 1 tablespoon commercial barbecue sauce

Directions

Saute onion in butter in a small skillet until tender.
Combine next 7 ingredients in a bowl; add onion, and mix lightly.
Place mixture in a lightly greased 10- x 6- x 2-inch baking dish, and shape into a loaf.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes; brush loaf with barbecue sauce.
Bake an additional 15 minutes or until done.
