Ingredients

 
1/2 cup ketchup or chili sauce
 
1 cup tomato juice
 
2 tablespoons vinegar
 
2 tablespoons brown sugar
 
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
 
1/2 cup chopped onion
 
1 /4 cup chopped celery
 
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
 
1 pound frankfurters
 
10 hot finger rolls

Directions

Combine the first 8 ingredients in skillet or saucepan, and bring to a boil. Cover, and simmer 2-3 minutes. Add frankfurters, and cover again.
Cook until frankfurters are thoroughly heated and glazed, about 3 minutes.
Lift each frankfurter into heated roll, using tongs or fork, and spoon sauce over each.
Serve at once.
Makes 10 hot dogs.
