Barbecued Country-Style Spareribs Recipe
Ingredients
4 lb. country-style spareribs
1 Ige. onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. catsup
2 c hot water
Directions
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Cut meat into strips; lay in roasting pan, fat side up.
Peel onion; cut in thin slices.
Lay over meat.
Put in oven; roast 20 to 25 minutes or until spareribs begin to brown.
Measure remaining ingredients into small saucepan; mix well.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce oven heat to 350 degrees.
Pour sauce over meat; turn spareribs.
Bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes until tender, basting every 15 minutes with sauce.
