 8-10 pork spareribs
 Crunchy Coleslaw
 Saffron Rice Salad
 Oil2 Tablespoon (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), crushed (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Onion1 Medium, finely chopped (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Tomato ketchup1 Tablespoon (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Lemon juice2 Tablespoon (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Dried sage1/4 Teaspoon (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Brown sugar3 Tablespoon, firmly packed (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Beef Stock1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Worcestershire sauce2 Teaspoon (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 French mustard2 Teaspoon (Sweet and Sour Sauce:)
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Make sauce first by heating oil in a heavy pan on the barbecue, add garlic and onion and cook until soft.
Add ketchup, lemon juice, sage, brown sugar, stock, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper and heat, stirring until smooth and hot.
Add the spareribs to the pan and turn to coat well with the sauce, then place ribs on the grid over medium coals and cook for 18-20 minutes, until tender, turning and basting frequently with the sauce.
