Barbecued Steak Recipe
This is a simple recipe for Barbecued Steak. I served them last night for my family and everyone loved it. Looks like I have to make the Barbecued Steak again today!
Ingredients
Mustard, Horseradish, Caper, or Beer Barbecue Sauce (right)
1 beef top round steak, 1 inch thick (about 1 pound), or 1 beef chuck blade steak, 1 inch thick
Unseasoned meat tenderizer
Directions
1. Prepare outdoor grill for barbecuing. Mean while, prepare one of the barbecue sauces.
2. Prepare beef top round steak with meat ten derizer as label directs. Place steak on grill over medium heat; grill 10 to 15 minutes for medium-rare or until of desired doneness, turning steak occasionally. During last 5 minutes of cooking, brush steak frequently with sauce
TO BROIL IN OVEN: About 45 minutes before serving, preheat broiler if manufacturer directs. Meanwhile, prepare one of the barbecue sauces. Prepare steak with meat tenderizer as label directs. Place steak on rack in broiling pan. Broil steak 10 to 15 minutes for medium-rare or until of desired doneness, turning steak once. During last few minutes of cooking, brush steak frequently with sauce.
