Barbecued Spicy Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Cooking oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Catsup | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon peel | 1 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce | ||
| Fryer chicken | 3 Pound, quartered | |
Directions
Cook onion and garlic in oil till tender but not brown.
Stir in catsup, vinegar, lemon peel, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, dry mustard, hot pepper sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Simmer, covered, about 1/2 hour; stir occasionally.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Place, bone side down, over medium-hot coals.
Grill 25 minutes.
Turn skin side down; grill 20 minutes more.
Brush onion mixture over chicken.
Continue grilling till tender, 10 to 15 minutes, turning frequently and basting with sauce.
