Ingredients

 Preheat oven to 350°F.
 2 1/4 cups large, dried soybeans, soaked and cooked
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Oil2 Tablespoon (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Tomato juice1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Catsup1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Molasses1 Tablespoon (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Green pepper1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Honey2 Tablespoon (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Dry mustard1 1/2 Teaspoon (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Parsley1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Cayenne pepper1/8 Teaspoon (The water soybeans were cooked in)
 Bacon strips for garnish

Directions

Put cooked soybeans with their liquid into a lightly oiled casserole.
Saute chopped onion and minced garlic in 2 tablespoons oil until golden but not brown.
Remove from heat and add to cooked soybeans.
Add the tomato juice, catsup, molasses, chopped green pepper, honey, dry mustard, chopped parsley and cayenne pepper.
Mix together thoroughly.
Lay strips of bacon on top of soybeans, if desired.
Place in preheated oven and bake one and one half hours or until soybeans are tender.
