Ingredients

 4 pounds beef short ribs or pork baby back ribs
 Water1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Barbecue Sauce

Directions

In a 7" X 11" baking dish, arrange the ribs in a single layer.
Add the water and cover with wax paper.
Microwave on high for 2 1/2 minutes.
Rotate the dish a half turn and rearrange the ribs.
Microwave on high for 2 1/2 minutes.
Rotate the dish again.
Microwave on medium (50% power) for 7 minutes.
Turn the ribs over and microwave on medium (50% power) for 8 minutes.
Drain well.
Transfer the ribs to a hot grill.
Baste with the barbecue sauce.
Grill, basting occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender.
