Barbecued Meat Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground beef | 3/4 pound | |
| Soft breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Milk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sage | 1/4 Teaspoon, rubbed | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Commercial barbecue sauce - 1 tablespoon | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
MAKING
2. In a small skillet heat butter and saute onion in it until tender.
3. In a large bowl mix next 7 ingredients.
4. Add onion and mix lightly.
5. Lightly grease a 10- x 6- x 2-inch baking dish.
6. Transfer mixture into it and shape like a loaf.
7. Bake for 30 minutes.
8. Brush loaf with barbecue sauce.
9. Bake again for 15 minutes.
SERVING
10. Serve hot.
