Barbecued Sliced Ham With Sherry And Grape Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Orange juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry sherry | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 3/4 pound fully cooked ham slice, cut 3/4 inch thick | ||
| 3/4 cup seedless red or green grapes, halved | ||
Directions
For sauce, in a small saucepan stir together orange juice, sherry, and cornstarch.
Cook and stir till the mixture is thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
Trim separable fat from ham.
Place ham on the unheated rack of a broiler pan.
Brush with 1 tablespoon of the sauce.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 5 minutes; turn.
Brush with 1 tablespoon of the sauce.
Broil 4 to 5 minutes more or till the ham is heated through.
Meanwhile, stir the grape halves into the remaining sauce.
Heat through.
Spoon sauce over ham to serve.
