Barbecued Frankfurters and Lima Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 , minced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Fat | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Firmly packed brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 teaspoon powdered mustard | ||
| Worcestershire | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Lima beans | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), dried | |
| 1 pound frankfurters, cut into 2-inch pieces | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a skillet heat oil and fry onion and garlic till light brown.
2) Mix with it sugar, seasonings, and tomato sauce. Boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
3) Add beans and frankfurters and heat well.
SERVING
4) Serve hot or cold.
