Ingredients

 2 tablesp. fat or salad oil
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), minced
 Paprika3/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Granulated Sugar2 Teaspoon
 Dry mustard3/4 Teaspoon
 Worcestershire sauce3 Teaspoon
 3 tablesp. catchup
 2 tablesp. vinegar
 Frankfurters4
 4 frankfurter rolls

Directions

Melt fat, add onion, and simmer tender.
Then add next 7 ingredients.
Make a lengthwise slit 3" long through the center of each frankfurter.
Arrange in a baking pan, slit side up, and pour sauce over all.
Bake in a moderate oven of 350°F 20 min., basting several times.
Meanwhile, make a slit in each roll, butter lightly and toast under broiler.
Place a frankfurter with some sauce in each roll.
