Barbecued Country Style Pork Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
| Country-style pork ribs - 4 lb | ||
| Water | 2 1/2 Quart | |
| White vinegar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Large, quartered | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| BARBECUE SAUCE | ||
| Cider vinegar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chili Sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Using damp paper towels, wipe pork ribs.
2. On meaty side, make slits about halfway through between bones.
MAKING
3. Into a 8-quart heavy kettle, pour boiling water and white vinegar.
4. Place pork ribs with fat side up; water should cover pork ribs.
5. Add onion, salt, pepper and bay leaf; bring the contents to a boil.
6. Reduce heat, cover and simmer very gently for about 1 1/2 hours just until tender.
7. Drain well and keep aside.
8. In a medium saucepan, put together all barbeque sauce ingredients; bring the liquids to boiling.
9. Lower the heat and simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes; stirring occasionally.
10. Baste pork ribs with the barbeque sauce.
11. Adjust grill height at about 6 inches from prepared coals.

12. Place the pork ribs over the grill, grill over low heat for about 20 minutes; brush with sauce and turn frequently
