Lemon Mustard Barbecued Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
3 to 3 1/2 -pound frying or roasting chicken (or equivalent quantity of chicken parts)
1 medium sized onion, chopped
2 tablespoons oil or shortening
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 can (8 oz.) tomato hot sauce
3 tablespoons Worcestershire
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 cup water
Celery salt, salt, and pepper to taste
Directions
Cut chicken into serving size pieces.
Brown onion in oil; then add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.
After marinade has cooked, pour over chicken and marinate overnight.
Build charcoal fire in barbecue, then push coals to each end and put chicken on the middle of the grill not directly over coals.
Cook chicken slowly for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
You don't have to watch it too closely, but you should turn it several times, brushing frequently with the remainder of the marinade.
