Barbecued Beef Sate Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 kg. / 2 lb. rump steak, cubed Marinade | ||
| 30 ml. / 2 tablespoons soy sauce | ||
| 15 ml. / 1 tablespoon clear honey | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| 5 ml. / 1 teaspoon ground coriander | ||
| 5 ml. / 1 teaspoon caraway seeds | ||
| 1.25 ml. / 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder | ||
| 30 ml. / 2 tablespoons oil | ||
Directions
Put the meat in a large bowl.
Mix all the marinade ingredients together and pour over the meat.
Marinate for 1 hour, basting occasionally.
Thread the meat on to six skewers.
Grill or barbecue over hot charcoal for 10 minutes, or until the meat is cooked to taste.
Baste occasionally with the marinade during the cooking period.
