Barbecue Sauced Pork Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| Boneless pork | 1 pound | |
| Cooking oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 8 Ounce | |
| Bottled barbecue sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 French rolls (about 6 inches long), hamburger buns, or kaiser rolls, split and toasted | ||
Directions
Partially freeze meat.
Thinly slice, across the grain, into bite-size strips.
Preheat a wok or large skillet over high heat.
Add oil. (Add more oil as necessary during stir-frying.)
Stir-fry onion and pepper in hot oil over high heat for 2 minutes.
Remove from wok.
Add half of the meat to the wok.
Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or till done.
Remove the meat from the wok.
Stir-fry remaining meat for 2 to 3 minutes.
Return all meat and vegetables to wok.
Stir in tomato sauce and barbecue sauce.
Heat through.
Spoon pork mixture onto bottom halves of rolls.
Top with roll tops.
