Barbecue Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients
6 hamburger buns or English muffins, split
1 10 3/4-ounce can condensed tomato soup
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons minced dried onion
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
Several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
8 ounces thinly sliced cooked pork or beef (1 1/2 cups)
Directions
Preheat broiler.
Toast buns in broiler.
Meanwhile, in saucepan mix soup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire, onion, mustard, pepper sauce, and 2 tablespoons water.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
Stir in meat; heat through.
Spoon over buns.
Toast buns in broiler.
