Spicy Barbecue Chicken Legs Recipe Video
Follow a few simple rules, to grill up some real tender and moist chicken legs on the grill.It is a perfect chicken recipe for tailgating and the back-yard barbeque, which is easy as well as quick.
Ingredients
| Chicken legs | 10 | |
| Barbecue sauce | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Olive oil/Vegie oil | 1 (As Required) | |
| Chicken | 1 Tablespoon (As Required) |
Directions
1) Thoroughly wash and pat dry the chicken legs.
2) Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle your favorite chicken rub on the legs. Combine all to coat the legs evenly.
3) Place the chicken over hot coals to sear for a minute or two each side.
4) Transfer the chicken legs to the indirect heating area(opposite the coals).
5) Cover the grill with the lid and cook the legs at a temperature of 250-300f for about 10-15 minutes, depending on how big your legs are.
Add some hardwood for an additional smoke flavor.
6) Remove the lid to brush the chicken legs with your favorite BBQ sauce on both sides.
7) Place the lid back on the grill and cook the chicken legs for another 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165f. Grilling time will vary, depending on how hot your grill is.
8) Transfer the chicken legs over the hot coal area for a minute or so, before serving with your favorite hot or mild barbeque sauce.
