Chicken Casserole Barbecue Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 (3-pound) broiler-fryer, cut into serving pieces | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| 2 tablespoons firmly packed dark brown sugar | ||
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Wash chicken pieces and pat dry.
Set aside.
In a deep, 2 1/2 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole, combine all ingredients except chicken.
Heat, uncovered, on full power 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add chicken pieces to sauce and heat, covered, on roast for 12 minutes.
Stir.
Heat, covered, on roast an additional 9 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Set aside.
