Bananas In Raisin Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
6 bananas
3 level tblspns, honey
1/2 pint water
2 level tblspns, cornflour
juice of 1 lemon
1/2-oz. butter
3 oz. seedless raisins
Directions
Peel the bananas, cut them in half lengthwise, then across.
Melt the butter in an ovenware dish and place the bananas in it.
Boil the raisins in 1/2 pint water for 5 mins.; then add the honey and lemon juice.
Blend the corn- flour with 1/4-pint water, add some of the raisin mixture, return all to the pan and stir until boiling.
Cook till mixture clears — about 2 minutes.
Pour over the bananas and bake for 20 minutes in a moderate oven.
