Directions

GETTING READY
1. Prepare an 8-inch round baking dish by tipping the butter into it.
2. Melt the butter in it at High for 30 seconds
3. Set aside to cool

MAKING
4. Cut the bananas lengthwise in half and then cut them again crosswise in half
5. Sprinkle the bananas with lemon juice
6. Add the brown sugar and the rum
7. Cook this on High for 30 seconds
8. Turn the dish and cook again for 30-45 seconds

SERVING
9. Serve warm over vanilla or butter-pecan ice cream
