Banana Walnut Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 375 mL
 
3/4 cup granulated sugar 175 mL
 
3/4 cup chopped walnuts(about 3 oz [75 g]) 175 mL
 
11/2 tsp baking soda 7mL
 
1/4 tsp salt 1 mL
 
1 1/4 cups mashed ripe bananas 300 mL
 
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter(1 stick) 125 mL
 
1 egg
 
2 1/2tbsp milk 35 mL

Directions

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, chopped walnuts, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, egg and milk.
Add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
Do not overmix.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin, filling cups three-quarters full.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out dry.
