Traditional Banana Pudding Recipe Video

1)Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
2)In a saucepan heat butter, sugar, flour, egg yolks and stir well.
3)To the saucepan now add milk and salt and whisk in the pot and cook for 10 minutes till a pudding consistency on a moderate temperature.
4)Line the 8*8 inch baking dish with wafers and layer them with banana slices.
5)Get the pudding off the heat and add the vanilla extract and whisk well.
6)Pour half the pudding in the baking dish over the bananas and add another layer of sliced bananas and alternate.
7)For the topping- Add egg whites and whisk on high in a food processor and gradually add the granulated sugar to form a meringue like consistency.
8)Pour over this meringue mixture on the baking dish with the pudding and smooth over the top.
9)Delicately brown the pudding in the oven for 4 minutes at 425 minutes and be sure to monitor closely.
10)Cut portions and serve, enjoy!
