Easy And Quick Banana Pudding Recipe
Are you looking for a mouthwatering Banana Pudding recipe? Fruits is one of the few ingredients I like to include in my daily cooking and this is my comfort recipe that I usually prepare using it. I never fail to eat Dessert while dining out and this is the most common dish that I order. Not trying out this Banana Pudding after reading about it is one of the biggest sins you could possibly imagine of committing.
Ingredients
2 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch or 2 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
2 or 3 sliced bananas
15 graham crackers
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Beat the egg yolks, add sugar and cornstarch or flour, and mix thoroughly.
Add milk and cook in a double boiler until creamy, stirring constantly.
Remove from the heat and add vanilla.
Place alternate layers of graham crackers, crumbed, and sliced bananas in a baking dish.
Add the custard.
Beat the egg whites until.
Stiff and add 4 tablespoons .sugar.
Spread over the pudding and brown in a moderate oven (350° F).
If preferred, the beaten egg .whites may be folded into the custard before adding to the crackers and bananas and the mixture be allowed to cool before serving.
