Graham cracker crumbs - 1 cup
 
Coconut - 1/2 cup, shredded
 
Pecans - 1/2 cup, chopped
 
Egg whites - 4
 
Sugar - 1 cup
 
Salt - 1/4 tsp
 
Vanilla - 1 tsp
 
Banana - 1, sliced
 
Whipped cream
 
Slivered almonds
 
Maraschino cherries

GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven

MAKING
2. Combine crumbs, coconut and pecans and mix well.
3. Beat the egg whites until they are soft and fluffy and then add sugar gradually to continue beating until stiff peaks form. Add salt and vanilla.
4. Fold in crumb mixture and then spread on to greased and floured 9-inch cake pan. Bake for 30 minutes in 350-degree oven. Cool.

SERVING
5. Cover with banana slices Frost with whipped cream; sprinkle with almonds and cherries and serve chilled.
