Banana Nut Cookies Recipe

| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Shortening | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 , beaten | |
| Vanilla | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon extract | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Bananas | 1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed | |
| Nuts | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped |
Directions
Sift together dry ingredients.
Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly, add eggs, flavorings and beat well.
Add banana alternately with dry ingredients.
Stir in chopped nuts.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350°F. 15 minutes.
