Banana-Mallow Pudding Recipe

1 (3 1/8-ounce) package regular vanilla pudding mix
 
3 1/2 cups milk, divided
 
2 cups miniature marshmallows, divided
 
1 (8-ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
 
1 (12-ounce) package vanilla wafers
 
4 medium bananas, sliced
 
1 (3 3/8-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
 
Crushed vanilla wafers

Directions

Combine regular pudding mix and 2 cups milk in a small saucepan.
Cook according to package directions.
Add 1 1/2 cups marshmallows, blend until marshmallows are melted.
Add half of whipped topping.
Layer one-third of vanilla wafers in the bottom of a 3-quart bowl.
Top with one-third of banana slices and half of pudding mixture.
Repeat layers once.
Top with remaining vanilla wafers and banana slices.
Combine instant pudding mix and remaining l/2 cups milk in a large mixing bowl, mix according to package directions.
Stir in remaining 1/2 cup marshmallows and whipped topping.
Pour over bananas.
Garnish with crushed vanilla wafers.
