Banana Ice Cream Recipe
This banana ice cream recipe is a banana and lemon flavored ice cream made with milk, eggs and cream. A dual flavored ice cream, the banana ice cream is prepared with a custard base and is frozen to prepare. Delicious with a hint of tang to it, the banana ice cream is a hit for family holidays!

Ingredients
Milk- 1 pint
Flour- 1 tablespoon
Water- 1 tablespoon
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Egg- 1
Bananas- 2
Salt- 1/8 teaspoon
Thin cream- 1 pint
Lemon flavoring- 1/2 teaspoon
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Start by peeling and scraping the bananas
MAKING
2.Now rub the bananas through a sieve, add salt and add to the cold custard mixture.
3.Add cream and flavoring.
4.In a bowl, beat together the eggs and sugar
5.Separately, dissolve the flour in a little milk.
6.Add into the egg-sugar mixture.
7.In a pan, heat the leftover milk. Stir into the sugar and egg mixture.
8.Transfer the mixture back into the pan. Let it come to a boil. After simmering for about 3 minutes it should become thick in consistency. Keep stirring.
9.Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Allow to cool down. Keep stirring to avoid a skin being formed at the surface.
10.Add in the vanilla essence, next.
11.Transfer the mixture into a freezing tray or shallow, rigid container. Freeze till it becomes thick.
12.Transfer the mixture into a chilled bowl. Beat well. Fold in the cream and mix thoroughly.
13.You may freeze the mixture at this stage by transferring it back into a rigid container. Seal, label and freeze the container.
