Ingredients

 
All-purpose flour- 1 1/4 cups
 
Sugar-1/2 cup
 
Salt- 1 1/4 teaspoons
 
Baking powder- 2 teaspoons
 
Egg- 1, beaten
 
Milk- 1/3 cup
 
Shortening- 2 teaspoons, melted
 
Medium bananas- 4
 
Fat - for deep frying purpose

Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by peeling the bananas and cutting them crosswise into halves or quarters

MAKING
2.In a bowl, combine the first 4 ingredeints and mix thoroughly
3.In a blender, place the egg and milk and blend together properly, also add flour mixture gradually to the blender, keep stirring until smooth
4.Now add shortening to the mixture
5.Place the remaining flour and put the banana pieces in it and roll it properly
6.Cover the pieces with the batter
7.In a hot pan, fry the pieces until they turn golden brown

Serving
8.Serve with warm syrup
