Jellied ranberry sauce - 1 1-lb. can
Sugar - 3 tbsp
Orange juice - 3 tbsp
Ripe bananas - 1 cup mashed
Heavy cream - 1 cup, whipped
Directions
MAKING
1. Use a fork to mash the cranberry sauce till it is smooth.
2. In a large saucepan, tip in the sugar and orange juice and stir well. Add this to the cranberry and then stir well.
3. Add bananas to the pan and mix well.
4. Turn into freezer tray; freeze at coldest setting until partially frozen. Turn into chilled bowl; beat with rotary, beater until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Return to tray; freeze until firm.
SERVING
5. Serve chilled
